Executive Session
1. Request by the County Judge for an executive session for the:
a. Appointment of Latrice Babin to the Houston-Galveston Area Council, Regional
Air Quality Planning Advisory Committee, with Stuart Mueller as an alternate
member for a term ending June 30, 2021.
b. Reappointment of John Blount to the Houston-Galveston Area Council, Regional
Flood Management Committee, with Daniel Mushen as an alternate member for a
term ending May 31, 2021.
c. Reappointment of Arthur Bracey to the Harris Health Board of Trustees for a term
ending November 1, 2021.
2. Request by the Commissioner of Precinct 2 for an executive session for approval of:
a. The appointment of Franco Valobra, replacing Tanya Makany-Rivera, to the
Tropical Storm Imelda Relief Fund Advisory Board for a term not to exceed the life
of the fund.
b. The reappointment of Linda Morales to the Harris Health System Board of
Managers for a term ending November 1, 2021.
c. All Commissioners Court appointees to the Harris County Homeless Task Force,
including the County Judge’s appointment of Sheriff’s Department Major Mike Lee
to serve as co-chair of the group with James Nutter, and for the task force to recruit
community stakeholders to join the effort and report progress back to the court.
3. Request by Budget Management for an executive session:
a. In collaboration with Universal Services to discuss security threats to the county’s
computer network and countermeasures that can be taken, with possible action to be
taken upon return to open session.
b. For discussion and approval of the appointment of Latrice Babin as Director of
Pollution Control Services.
