Item V - Appearances before court
The Clerk of the Court or another person designated by the presiding member of the court shall keep the time for speakers. Those persons who do not conduct themselves in an orderly and appropriate manner will be ordered to leave the meeting and recognition to speak may be refused at subsequent meetings of the court.
Refusal to abide by the court’s order may result in a Contempt of Court Citation.

will be requested to come to the podium where they will be limited to three minutes. A speaker whose
subject matter as submitted does not relate to an identifiable item of business on this agenda will be

Executive Session - Executive Session
1. Request by the County Judge for an executive session for consideration and possible
approval of the reappointments of:
a. Commissioner Steve Radack as Harris County's representative to the HoustonGalveston
Area Council Transportation Policy Council, with Gary Trietsch, P.E., as
an alternate member for terms ending December 31, 2017.
b. Kerry L. Wright to the Harris County Housing Authority Board of Directors for a
term ending February 28, 2019.
2. Request by the Commissioner of Precinct 3 for an executive session for consideration
and approval of the reappointment of John Montalbano to the Harris County Sports &
Convention Corporation Board of Directors for a term ending January 26, 2020.
3. Request by the Commissioner of Precinct 4 for an executive session for consideration
and approval of the reappointment of Carolyn Truesdell to the Harris County Hospital
District Board of Managers for a term ending November 1, 2018.
4. Request by the County Attorney for an executive session to consult with the court
concerning:
a. ODonnell, et. al. vs. Harris County, et. al., a case pending in the U.S. District Court,
and to take further action as appropriate.
b. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V., FCA US, LLC, and other responsible parties for
devices that allowed excess emissions of nitrogen oxides in certain vehicles, and to
take appropriate action upon returning to open session, including retaining outside
counsel.
